“Oh, I’d completely die and go to heaven if I could do that. But I think it’s a different world now. You need to make a living…I don’t know. But even more than that, I think it’s a good thing to do, I do enjoy playing live. Maybe if it wasn’t like every day - I actually haven’t been home since August. It’d be better if it wasn’t this intense. But I don’t think it’ll always be this intense, it’s just right now we’re kind of…and it’s really hard to say no to things. We get really cool show offers and I just can’t say no - like, if I’ve never been to a particular country then I probably want to play there, stuff like that.”

Laurel Halo talks about video games and "Quarantine"
“I like music that’s hopeful. I like music that has a positive lining, even if it sounds quite dark or menacing. I just want to make music that makes people feel excited and positive about themselves, because I think that a lot of what’s happening with the online identities is quite fragmenting and damaging to people. So creating music that gives a sense of centeredness is important to me.”
