Laurel Halohas announced a string of European shows, including a few dates supporting Animal Collective. The tour starts with a London gig at XOYO on April 25th.Following on from debut album Quarantine and follow-up EP Sunlight on the Faded, the Michigan producer also has a new – though still untitled – EP coming out through Hyperdub in the next few months.
The full tour dates are below:

- 26th April – Donau Festival – Krems, Austria
- 27th April – Trafó – Budapest, Hungary
- 28th April – Festsaal Kreuzberg – Berlin, Germany

On SS Coachella I had the pleasure to attend my fifth Grimes live show and this was by far the best one. Claire has now found the right balance between operating her machinery and dancing. An absolutely great show!

I had booked the last of four shows and 1) I was not in town and 2) it was canceled because of Sandy. Now I hope she gets well soon.
